Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by Derrick Moore, trading as From Experience to Evidence, a sole proprietor based in North Carolina, USA. Purchases made through the buy buttons on this site are processed by Payhip Ltd, London, UK, which acts as the merchant of record: Payhip is the seller on your receipt, collects any VAT or sales tax due, and delivers your files. Payhip's own terms of use and privacy policy apply to the checkout alongside these terms. Books bought from Amazon, Apple, Google, Kobo or another store are governed by that store's terms.
Digital products and your licence
Every ebook, audiobook and Career Accelerator file you buy is licensed to you, not sold: you may download it, keep it, and read or listen on any device you own, for your own use, for as long as you like. The licence covers one person. Resale, lending for a fee, redistribution, public performance, and sharing your download link or files with anyone else are not allowed, and neither is using the texts or audio to train a machine-learning model. Copyright in every file belongs to From Experience to Evidence.
The audiobooks are narrated by a synthetic voice, which is stated on every audiobook offer and inside each file's metadata.
Prices, payment and delivery
Prices on this site are in US dollars unless a page says otherwise; VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where your country requires it, and the total is shown before you pay. Where a page shows an approximate amount in another currency, the charge is still made in US dollars and your card issuer's rate applies. Files are delivered by download link the moment payment succeeds, by email and on the confirmation page. If a file does not arrive within ten minutes, reply to your receipt and a person will resend it.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom ordinarily have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. Because these are digital products delivered immediately on payment, completing checkout means you expressly ask for delivery to begin right away and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. This does not affect the refund policy on our refunds page, which still applies: one 30-day refund policy on everything bought here.
Discount codes and affiliate links
A discount code applies to the products it was issued for, once per customer, and cannot be combined with another code. Some links on this site to other stores are affiliate links; if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our partners are bound by the rules on the partners page, and a refund reverses the commission on that sale.
What the books are, and are not
The books, the Career Accelerator and the free interview-question pack are educational material about the business analyst profession. Scenarios and worked examples are composites written to teach, not accounts of a specific employer or person. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax or career-placement advice, and no outcome, including an interview, an offer or a certification result, is promised. Your use of the material is your own decision.
Liability
We stand behind the files with the refund policy on the refunds page. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or the statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim there. Before any formal step, write to us: nearly every problem is a resent file or a refund, and a person answers every message.
